November 26, 2025 โ Mayor Joselito T. Roble, together with Vice Mayor Ramon A. G. Bungabong, formally signed the Deed of Donation for two parcels of land donated by A Brown Company Inc. (ABCI), represented by CEO & President Mr. Robertino E. Pizzaro and COO Engr. John Batac, during a ceremony held at the JP Satorre Gymnasium, Buenavista.
Vice Mayor Bungabong warmly welcomed the guests, especially the donors, and highlighted the significance of the land donation for the proposed Integrated Bus Terminal. In his remarks, he emphasized that this milestone would not have been possible without the dedication and leadership of Mayor Roble.
โMay the ink of the pen never dry, and may the dream of every Buenavistahanon continue to live. Truly, Buenavista is on the rise,โ he said.
Municipal Engineer Lilian T. Bokingo shared that the proposed bus terminal will be constructed along the National Highway in Barangay Manapa, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte. A total of 1,800 sq.m. has been donated by A Brown Company Inc., which will serve as the future site for the bus and PUJ terminal, complete with commercial spaces.
Mayor Roble expressed his heartfelt gratitude to ABCI for their generosity. He noted that the lack of a proper terminal has long been a challenge for commuters and visitors. With this development, he believes that the daily travel experience of Buenavistahanons and neighboring communities will greatly improve.
The Mayor added: โOn behalf of LGU Buenavista, we commit to preparing, taking care of, and treasuring this project that will benefit our people. Your trust is deeply appreciated. This partnership proves that when the public and private sectors come together with a shared purpose, true progress becomes possible.โ
Mr. Pizzaro, ABCI President and CEO, also expressed the companyโs gratitude to LGU Buenavista for choosing their property as the site of the Integrated Bus Terminal. He shared that they look forward to continued partnerships and future developments, including expanding industrial investments in Buenavista.
In closing, Sangguniang Bayan Member and Committee Chair on Infrastructure Hon. Bernardo S. Galapin thanked everyone involved and encouraged citizens to continue supporting Buenavistaโs development. He stated that this deed of donation is another step toward the municipalityโs long-term dream of becoming a city.
The Deed of Donation was witnessed by the Sangguniang Bayan members, barangay captains and officials, LGU department heads and staff, ABCI personnel, and real estate brokers.
