July 30, 2025 | Department of Agriculture Regional Executive Director Arlan M. Mangelen, together with Mayor Joselito T. Roble led the turnover ceremony of the Buenas Agribusiness Center, also known as the KADIWA Building, in Barangay 2, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.
Engr. Lilian T. Bokingo provided the following project details:
Construction of Buenas Agribusiness Center (KADIWA Building)

โข Source of funds โ DA Caraga โ Enhanced KADIWA Grant
โข Status โ Completed ahead of schedule
Mayor Joselito T. Roble expressed his gratitude to Senator Imee Marcos for the KADIWA grant and to RED Arlan Mangelen for the support. He also announced that he has secured a โฑ100 million fund from PFDA for the construction of a municipal port with cold storage in Barangay 10.
He reaffirmed his dedication to uplifting the farmers and fisherfolk of Buenavista, aligning with the vision of President Ferdinand โBongbongโ Marcos Jr.
He shared his aspiration to help local farmers attain a steady income, promote food security, and strengthen the local economy for the overall welfare of the community.
DA RED Arlan M. Mangelen also thanked LGU Buenavista for its collaboration with the DA. โHindi kaya ng DA kung walang tulong mula sa ibang ahensya. Sobrang blessed ninyo dahil kaibigan ni Mayor Roble ang Secretary ng DA.โ
RED Arlan announced that Caraga is fortunate to receive substantial agricultural funding. โMag-submit lang kayo ng proposal sa opisina namin, at tiyak na tutulungan talaga namin kayo.โ
In closing, Vice Mayor Ramon A.G. Bungabong expressed his gratitude to all agencies who helped in realizing this project. โDili ni magmalampuson lung dili tulay ang Department of Agriculture.โ
The event was attended by SB members, department heads, DA Caraga staff, and MAO staff.
