August 19, 2025 | Over 400 beneficiaries received free services during the Kumustahan sa Barangay in Guinabsan today.

Services included free medicines and medical check-ups by Dr. Ivanka Lizbeth L. Priete; free processing of birth, death, and marriage certificates; free seedlings and anti-rabies vaccination; scholarship applications for incoming first-year college students; processing of hospital bills and burial assistance; and free reading glasses from Dra. Rosejune E. Sator, among many others.

Barangay Guinabsan Captain Hon. Roel P. Galinato warmly welcomed all residents of their community.

Mayor Joselito T. Roble gladly served the people of Guinabsan, saying: โ€œAkong gidala tanan departments sa Munisipyo para maka dawat mo sa tanan serbisyo.โ€

Plenty of good news were also shared in Guinabsan. Road concreting projects in Sitio Lomboyan and Sitio Balatakan are almost complete, thanks to Governor Angel Amante. Mayor Roble also commended the efforts of Barangay Guinabsan for allocating โ‚ฑ1M from their 20% development fund. Kapitan Galinato requested additional funds for the renovation of their covered court, to which Mayor Roble committed โ‚ฑ2 million for its completion.

Mayor Roble also expressed his hope to return next year, bringing a mobile clinic with free laboratory tests and X-ray services for the next Kumustahan sa Barangay.

Meanwhile, the Buenavista Primary Health Care is currently processing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for a pediatrician and a pulmonologist who will render duty at the Primary Health Care Center once a week.

Over 400 residents also received 5 kilos of rice, a packed lunch, and free ice cream for children.

The event was attended by Barangay Malapong officials, LGU department heads and staff, and representatives from National Line Agencies.
