July 30, 2025 | Over 500 beneficiaries received free services during the Kumustahan sa Barangay held in Barangay Talo-ao.

The services included free medicines, birth implants, and medical check-ups provided by Dr. Ramoet Racho and Dr. Ivanka Priete; free birth, death, and marriage registration from the Local Civil Registrar; free anti-rabies vaccinations and seedlings—such as kangkong, talong, pechay, batong, and okra—from the Agriculture Office; free voters’ registration from COMELEC; scholarship and senior citizens’ registration; and medical, burial, and educational assistance from MSWD, among many others.

Newly elected Barangay Talo-ao Captain, Hon. Reygel J. Madjos, warmly welcomed the residents and extended his gratitude to Mayor Roble for prioritizing their community.

Mayor Joselito T. Roble cheerfully addressed the residents, saying: “Nalipay ko nga makita nga nagkahiusa ang Talo-ao. Mao kini ang akong giuna sa Kumustahan.” He added: “Amo kining pundohan para i-renovate ang inyong covered court next year, ug humanon pud nato ang naputol nga Casilak Bridge.” “Samtang naa pa mi diri, hutda ninyo tanan nga among gidala, labi na gyud ning mga tambal para sa mga bata ug tigulang.”

Residents also received a 5-kilogram sack of rice and a packed lunch.

The event was attended by Barangay Kagawads, SK Officials, and PNP personnel.
