November 9, 2025 | The Municipality of Buenavista, headed by Mayor Joselito T. Roble, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) led by Ms. Ma. Bernadita M. Quijano, extended relief assistance to residents affected by Typhoon Uwan.
Residents living in coastal areas evacuated last night as sea levels began to rise. Some households were alarmed when seawater started to enter their homes.
Barangay officials and workers immediately responded by conducting monitoring activities and facilitating the swift evacuation of affected families to designated evacuation centers.
The MSWDO promptly provided temporary shelter, emergency kits, and food packs to evacuees.
The following are the numbers of affected families per barangay due to Typhoon Uwan:
