November 7, 2025 | The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), headed by Ms. Ma. Bernadita M. Quijano, led the kick-off ceremony of the 33rd National Childrenโs Month with a theme: โOSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglabanโ held at the Buenavista Gymnasium.
A total of 1,342 children and 41 daycare teachers joined the celebration, showcasing their colorful attire and delightful performances.
FO3 Eric Galela of the Bureau of Fire Protection shared an important message emphasizing the proper use of fire extinguishers to ensure family safety during fire emergencies.
Mayor Joselito T. Roble, ably represented by Hon. Ronilyn N. Borja of the Sangguniang Bayan, delivered the Mayorโs message:
โKini ang buwan para iselebrar ang mga bata. Rest assured, suportahan namo ang tanan kalihokan niini.โ
She also encouraged parents to take part in ending Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC).
Mascots from the PNP, BFP, and Yakult entertained the children, and the crowd cheered with excitement when the PNP magician appeared.
In her closing message, Social Welfare Officer II Evangeline T. Adea extended her warm greetings to all children and parents, wishing everyone a joyful and meaningful celebration.
The event was made possible through the efforts of the MSWD staff, daycare teachers from 25 barangays, and participating children from various communities.
