November 5, 2025 | Mayor Joselito T. Roble led the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly completed concreting of the access road in Barangay Rizal (Evacuation Route) leading to the Regional Evacuation Center.
Assistant Municipal Engineer Edith Abuzo shared the following project details:
Project Title: Concreting of Access Road (Evacuation Route) to Regional Evacuation Center at Brgy. Rizal
Project Cost: β±3,978,568.35
Source of Funds: LGU BTA 20% Development Fund
Status: Completed ahead of schedule
Scope of Work:
β’ 183.0 LM x 6.10m wide x 0.20m thick road concreting
β’ 910mm dia. ARC pipe culverts with stone masonry on both sides
Barangay Rizal Captain Hon. Valeriano Buling Jr. expressed his gratitude to Mayor Roble for continuously providing numerous development projects for their barangay.
Mayor Joselito T. Roble emphasized that road projects leading to evacuation centers are among his top priorities to ensure accessibility and safety during disasters. He personally inspected the Regional Evacuation Center to ensure its functionality and identify equipment needs.
Mayor Roble also reaffirmed his commitment to support and share counterpart funding for upcoming projects to be implemented in Barangay Rizal.
The event was attended by Barangay Rizal officials, department heads, staff, barangay workers, and security personnel.
