November 24, 2025 โ Mayor Roble led the Kumustahan sa Barangay in Poblacion 2 as part of the celebration of the 12th Araw ng Poblacion 2.
Residents enjoyed a wide range of free services, including:
Medical check-ups and free medicines provided by the Buenavista Primary Health Care Center
Free eyeglasses and free eye consultation conducted by Dr. Rosejun Ebarle Sator
Free seedlings and animal vaccinations from the Municipal Agriculture Office
On-site voter registration by COMELECโBuenavista
Free processing of birth, death, and marriage certificates by the Local Civil Registrarโs Office
And many other frontline services from various LGU departments!
More than 300 beneficiaries went home smiling with burgers, packed lunches, and 5 kilos of rice each. Free ice cream was also given to the children.
Mayor Roble pushed through with the Kumustahan in Poblacion 2 despite the occurrence of Tropical Depression โVERBENAโ today. He reassured the public that the LGU is fully prepared with emergency kits and food supplies for disasters. He also commended the efforts of Poblacion 2 officials, including the SK Chairperson, for utilizing their funds for the renovation of the covered court and the installation of electric scoreboards.
In his message, he highlighted several developments, especially in health services. These include the provision of specialist doctorsโsuch as a cardiologist, neurologist, and pediatricianโthrough a Memorandum of Understanding, the installation of new dental chairs, additional patient transport vehicles, and the upcoming Super Health Centers in Barangay Sangay and Barangay Manapa.
Mayor Roble reaffirmed his support for all the programs and projects needed in the barangay.
The event was attended by Barangay 2 officials, SB Members Hon. Lucia E. Jundis, Hon. Maribel M. Balansag, Hon. Angelita D. Cadelina, Hon. Rhianne A. Catabas, along with LGU staff and security personnel.
