Mayor Joselito T. Roble expressed his full support to the Buenavista Delegates who will compete in Batang Pinoy 2025 on October 25-31, 2025, in General Santos City.
A total of 70 participantsโ53 athletes and 17 coaches and officialsโwill represent Buenavista in the national competition. Each athlete will receive โฑ5,770 for meals and transportation allowance, while coaches will receive โฑ10,320.
Mayor Roble thanked the parents for their continuous support and assured that the LGU of Buenavista will keep investing in youth and sports development to build discipline, determination, and excellence. He also encouraged the youth to stay active in sports and avoid illegal drugs.
The send-off program concluded with a prayer led by MADAC Focal Pastor Salvador Rusillon and Ulysiss Dumangcas, while MLGOO Yul O. Guerta wished the athletes good luck and success in bringing pride to Buenavista.
