December 10, 2025 β The night sparkled brightly as the Siga Tortosa 2025 Ceremonial Switch-On officially opened last night at the Municipal Kiosk.
Vice Mayor Atty. Ramon A. G. Bungabong warmly welcomed guests and Buenavistahanons. In his message, he emphasized that this day marks the LGU Buenavista, headed by Mayor Joselito T. Roble, joins the world in the celebration of Christmas. He highlighted that this is not just a Christmas light-up, but a light-up for yesterday, today, and tomorrow in the Municipality of Buenavista. May this light be a sign that LGU Buenavista is full of growth and progressβa light-up for the next generation.
The night came alive with festive lights and decorations, delicious food at the Tortosa Night Bites Bazaar, and the iconic attractions for children and adults at Guingona Childrenβs Park, Rotunda Arc, and at the Municipal Hall.
In his message, Mayor Joselito T. Roble highlighted that true light comes from the familyβthrough unity and helping one another. He shared his hope that this switch-on ceremony brings a hope that never runs dry, a faith stronger than any problem, unity, and love that lifts up every Buenavistahanon.

The event was attended by Sangguniang Bayan members, Barangay Captains and officials, LGU department heads and employees, and security personnel.
