January 23, 2025 | Barangay Officials showcased their talents in their cowboy outfits at Brgy. 2 Covered Court, under the theme “Cowboy.”
In celebration of the 88th Adlaw sa Buenavista, the Barangay Night was one of the highlights commemorating the founding anniversary of the town, recognizing the efforts of the highly dedicated barangay officials.
ABC President Hon. Walter B. Tuga warmly welcomed all 25 Brgy. Officials and workers, and wished everyone to enjoy the night.
On the other hand, Gov. Ma. Angelica Rosedell M. Amante, ably represented by Vice Governor Hon. Enrico R. Corvera witnessed the unity of all Brgy. Officials saying “Mao ni reason maong mag celebrate ta kay daghan ug na accomplish ang Buenavista tungod sa inyong supporta mga Brgy. Officials.”
Mayor Joselito T. Roble expressed his gratitude to all Barangays Captians and officials for cooperating in all activities of the 88th Adlaw sa Buenavista, especially in Agri-Trade Fair wherein all Brgys. participated in the booth contest. “Nalipay ko nag tan-aw labi na pag palit nako sa inyong mga tinda. Pakapinan pajud kog saging sa Simbalan, isda sa brgy. 10 ug uban pa.” On the other hand, the mayor announced that Buenavista is really on the rise. Many large companies will soon operate, like Del Monte and Richmond. This will help increase employment. He added, “wala mi gisaad nga wala namo gi tuman.” Lastly, He thanked our beloved governor and congressman for continuous support in our municipality.
The night was spiced up when Mayor Roble announced that Vice Governor, all SB members, vice mayor, and Himself will double the cash prizes in Agri-Trade Fair and additional cash raffle winners.
50 winners for P1,000, 20 winners for P2,000, and 1 winner for P5,000, P10,000, & P20,000.
The following are the winners for the Pinaka contest and will receive P1,000 pesos each:

3. Biggest Bangus – Brgy. 10
4. Biggest Chicken – Brgy. Matabao

7. Biggest Kalabasa – Brgy. 9
Best design booth – Brgy. Talo-ao (3,000)

2nd Place – Brgy. Simbalan (30,000)
1st Place – Brgy. Talo-ao (50,000)
The event was attended by Sangguniang Bayan members, LGU department heads, Datu Bawang, and Quadcon Construction.
