June 13, 2025 โ Cheers and tears filled the air as Buenavista was crowned Champion of the 11th Sadow Tu Agusan Showdown, held at Mabini Sports Complex, Cabadbaran City.
Vice Mayor Ronilyn N. Borja, together with SB Member Lucia E. Jundis and Tourism Officer Ms. Cecil Valdez, presented the โฑ500,000 cash prize to the triumphant team.
Adding to their victory, Buenavista also secured three special awards:
โข Best in Musicality โ โฑ50,000
โข Best in Storyline โ โฑ50,000
โข Best in Choreography โ โฑ50,000
Their outstanding performance was made possible through the strong support of Municipal Mayor Hon. Joselito T. Roble and Brgy. Simbalan Captain Hon. Walter B. Tuga.
Buenavista was also awarded a โฑ150,000 consolation prize for their Sadow Float.
The event was attended by Barangay Captains of Buenavista and LGU staff, who joined in the celebration.
