July 9, 2025 | Mayor Joselito T. Roble led the multi-agency ceremonial turnover and ribbon-cutting for the completed multi-purpose buildings in Barangays 7 and 3, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.
DPWH DEO ADN Project Engineer Nelson Astilla provided the following project details:
1. Construction of a Multi-purpose Building in Brgy. 7
โข Scope of Work: Plain and reinforced concrete works, steel/metal works, plumbing works, and architectural works
โข Cost: โฑ6.8 million
โข Source of Funds: Congressional Office
โข Status: Completed ahead of schedule
2. Completion of the Multi-purpose Building in Brgy. 3
โข Scope of Work: Structural excavation (for bleachers), rebar and structural concrete works, steel works, electrical works, plumbing, and architectural works
โข Cost: โฑ5 million
โข Source of Funds: 20% Development Fund
โข Status: Completed ahead of schedule
Municipal Mayor Joselito T. Roble expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Angel and Congressman Dale for their unwavering support to Buenavista. He emphasized that he prioritized the construction of covered courts, as they serve as venues for gatherings, youth engagement like sports, and emergency evacuation during disasters.
Meanwhile, Congressman Dale B. Corvera, represented by Mr. Orensio S. Corvera, conveyed his message: โUnta magamit ninyo ning proyekto pinaagi sa maayong katuyoan ug mahimong panagtigom sa pag-celebrate sa inyong kalamboan og kadaugan.โ
Brgy. 7 Captain Hon. Adele C. Roble was moved to tears as she expressed her joy, along with her council, for receiving the project: โMao gyud ni ang pangandoy sa katawhan sa Brgy. 7.โ
Brgy. 3 Captain Hon. Neil V. Ebarle also expressed his gratitude to the Mayor and the Provincial Government for their full support. He pledged to maintain the facility and ensure it is used for the communityโs benefit.
The event was attended by members of the Brgy. 7 and Brgy. 3 councils, municipal department heads, national line agencies, DPWH staff, contractorsโ representatives from Quadcon Builders and Design, and JDRG Construction.
