December 4, 2025 | Municipal Mayor Hon. Joselito T. Roble solemnized the wedding of 34 couples during the Kasalan ng Bayan held at the Barangay Simbalan Covered Court.
Local Civil Registrar Officer Ms. Teresita K. Valdehueza expressed her gratitude to Mayor Roble for his unwavering support. She emphasized that through this mass wedding, 80 children will now become legitimate.
Mayor Roble also expressed his appreciation to the Sangguniang Bayan members, headed by Vice Mayor Atty. Ramon A. G. Bungabong, for approving the budget for free weddings, which included free cakes, gifts, 5 kilos of rice, packed lunch, and free processing of marriage certificates. He also commended the efforts of the LCR Office and Barangay Simbalan officials for making the event successful.
The event was witnessed by Sangguniang Bayan members, as well as the families and relatives of the couples.
