January 20, 2025 | Mayor Joselito T. Roble led the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Tabo sa Buenavista, together with Vice Mayor Ramon A. G. Bungabong and SB members at the Municipal Kiosk today.

The 3-day trade fair is one of the highlights of the 88th Adlaw sa Buenavista, where all 25 barangays trade various agricultural and non-agri products. In her speech, Municipal Agriculturist Gertrulyn T. Natonton, jubilantly announced the successful installation of the 25 booths by its respective Barangay Captains and Kagawads.

Mayor Roble stressed the importance of agriculture in the municipality. “Atong mga farmers ang nagtabang sa ato to generate income through their products. Let us support our local products. Tangkilikin ang sariling atin.” He also proudly mentioned that the 2-storey Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) building was officially turned over last week. “Nindot na kaayo ug soon, naa napod silay new transport vehicle aron maserbisyohan pa of maayo atong mga farmers and fishermen.”

The Agri-Trade Fair is also a competition with the following prizes:

1st place โ€“ P25,000

2nd place โ€“ P15,000

3rd place โ€“ P10,000

Consolation prizes โ€“ P2,200 each

The participants were delighted when Mayor Roble announced that all SB members, the vice mayor, and he would double the cash prizes. The awarding of winners will take place on January 23, 2025, during the Barangay Night.

Free anti-rabies vaccination for dogs and cats will be available tomorrow, January 21, 2025, at the Municipal Kiosk until the supply lasts.
