February 12, 2025 | The Municipality of Buenavista hosted the 2025 Division Integrated Students’ Activities (DISA) with a theme: “Innovate, Illuminate, and Foster 21st Century Skills: Uniting Through Creative Writing Talents in Journalism and Skills Exhibition.”
Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) Jeanie L. Mativo, Ph.D. CESO V officially opened the event at Brgy. 2 Covered Court, inspiring the delegates, saying, “The talents are a gift of the Lord; let them be known and discovered in today’s contest”.
Municipal Mayor Hon. Joselito T. Roble, ably represented by Atty. Juselle Tricia S. Roble delivered the mayors’ message: “We come together to innovate, illuminate, and foster the skills that will guide us toward a brighter, more interconnected future.” She added, “Through our creative pursuits and collective efforts, we will not only shape the world we live in today but inspire the leaders and innovators of tomorrow.”
The 2-day contest consists of 4 categories, namely
1. Campus Journalism
2. Technolympics also has 4 categories:
ICTโTechnical drafting and invitation making
EIMโextension cord making for elementary, electrical installation, and food processing.
AFA – Dish Gardening
SCSโFood and preparation, and presentation, and bread and pastry production.
3. Readโa-thon (Musabaqah, Abilympics, SPC)
4. Festival of Talents (Bayle sa Kalye, & Sining ng Tanghalan)
The event was attended by ASDS Hector D.N. Macalalag, PhD, CESO VI, CID Chief Ms. Rayfrocina Abao, Public Schools District Supervisors of 10 Municipalities, Teachers, and Participants.
