April 22, 2025 — The Buenavista Public Employment Services Office (PESO), headed by Mr. Jonathan M. Budlat and in coordination with Provincial PESO Manager Ms. Procerfina C. Santillan, spearheaded the Key Employment Generators Forum held at Fortezza de Paula, Brgy. Manapa, Agusan del Norte.

Vice Mayor Hon. Ramon A. G. Bungabong warmly welcomed the participating business sectors. He expressed his hope to bridge the gap between employment and opportunity. “May this forum guide employers in finding employees with the right skills and talents,” he said. “Let us work together to create a brighter future for our community and our beloved town.”

Municipal Mayor Hon. Joselito T. Roble, represented by Atty. Juselle Tricia S. Roble delivered a message of appreciation. “We are grateful to all employment generators for the opportunities you provide our people. We also extend our deepest thanks for your contributions through taxes,” she stated. She added that LGU Buenavista is committed to supporting businesses every step of the way. “Through our PESO, we will continue to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers, between skills and opportunities, between dreams and realities.”

DOLE Provincial Director Keith C. Duran admired the Buenavista leadership’s vision. “We are very glad that the province and LGU have initiated this event,” he said. He also presented the current employment statistics in the Caraga Region: 96% employment rate, 4% unemployment rate, and 12% underemployment rate.

The event was attended by various business sectors, including Wing-on, Prince Hypermart, JD-RG, Evenpar Contruction, and others.
