June 9, 2025 โ Mayor Joselito T. Roble officiated the oath-taking ceremony of two newly appointed Barangay Indigenous Peoples (IP) Representatives at Brgy. Simbalan Hall.
Bae Nay Akoman Lita S. Salinay assumed the role of IP Representative in Brgy. Simbalan, succeeding Datu Manlagdaan Virgilio D. Cadeniag Jr., who was elected as the new IPMR of Buenavista. Meanwhile, Datu Kasilungan Ricky M. Ambongan was sworn in as the new IP Representative of Brgy. Guinabsan.
The oath-taking ceremony was witnessed by Ms. Edgielit B. Pajarillo, NCIP Community Development Officer III; Datu Haide “Bawang” Ampiyawan; and other IP representatives of Buenavista.
