February 24, 2025 | Municipal Mayor Hon. Joselito T. Roble led the MDRRMC 1st Quarterly Meeting at the MAO Conference Hall today.

The MDRRM Council approved the following:

Utilization of P4.9 million in unspent 2024 MDRRM funds. Of this, P4 million will be allocated for the construction of a floodwall in Brgy. Sangay, and P900,000 will be allocated for the declogging of canals. They also approved the repair of a GenSet 100Va worth P500,000 for the evacuation center.

Mayor Roble expressed his gratitude to the MDRRM Council for supporting the procurement of one evacuation truck, one 4×4 pick-up truck, and seven Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs). These vehicles will help address emergencies in 25 barangays. Three PTVs will serve Brgys. 1-10, two will be for Brgys. Manapa to Abilan, and two will be for Brgys. Simbalan and Sangay.

MDRRMO Eleazer A. Sabandal also thanked the council, noting that the rescue team can now cross the river using the 4×4 truck.

The meeting was attended by department heads, NLA representatives, and NGO sectors.
