September 25, 2024 | Mayor Joselito T. Roble was glad to see the people in the covered court of Barangay Simbalan receiving free services from the Municipality of Buenavista as over 500 residents received free services from LGU frontline offices.
Mayor Roble announced upcoming infrastructure projects for the barangay, like the construction and repair of Brgy. Simbalan covered court, street lights for Sitio Guinabasan, road construction of Sitio Antipolo and Sitio Monteverde, and lastly, the soon-to-rise 700-hectare banana and pineapple plantation.
“Ang goal gyud nako is maka himo ug sustainable livelihood program. Kung kini ma realize, 1,000 kapin ang makaplagan ug trabaho niini.” He then added that he hopes that all “Datu” in Simbalan will agree to use their land for the plantation.
The event was attended by Simbalan Punong Barangay Hon. Walter B. Tuga and Brgy. Councilor Hon. Richie Cadeรฑiag, Hon. Myrle B. Tuga, Hon. Rey M. Prajes, Hon. Joel Rentor, Hon. Alex E. Ilagan, Hon. Alberto M. Sajol, Datu Manlagdaan, and SK Chairman Hon. Maejelyn D. Tundag, Purok chairmans, Datu in all Sitio, Brgy. Health workers, Brgy. Tanod, and LGU department heads of frontline offices and employees.
