January 30, 2025 | TESDA Director General Sec. Jose Francisco ‘Kiko’ B. Benitez led today’s ribbon-cutting ceremony to launch the NMSF Incubation Centers at Fishyalan, Al Fresco Resto.

NMSF Administrator Ms. Nancy C. De Guzman warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and introduced the five established incubation centers: Regional Villa, Fishers Dormitel, Students’ Dormitory, Brewer’s Cafe, and Fishyalan.

Municipal Mayor Hon. Joselito T. Roble, ably represented by Atty. Juselle Tricia S. Roble delivered the mayor’s message: “We believe that these training centers will transform lives, enhance our workforce, and contribute to the long-term prosperity of our community, the LGU looks forward to seeing the positive impact these centers will have in the years to come.”

Atty. Roble announced that the much-awaited project, Concreting of Road Access within NMSF, worth P3 million, was bid out on January 17, 2025, and is ready for construction. The fund source is from the 20% Development Fund through the initiative of Mayor Joselito T. Roble.

Sec. Jose Francisco B. Benitez said that the Incubation Center aims to provide students with hands-on experience in running businesses, allowing them to apply classroom concepts in real-world scenarios. He added, “This is my first time here in Caraga, and it definitely will not be the last, because babalik ako for the turn-over ng 2 storey building of Regional Training and Innovation Center.”

The event was attended by TESDA Regional Director Florencio F. Sunico Jr., CESO III, USEC Vidal Villanueva III, and all TESDA Administrators in Caraga.
