June 10, 2024 | Over 400 beneficiaries received free services from municipal frontline service offices. The RHU, headed by Dr. Ramises S. Casals and Asst. MHO Dr. Ramoet Tobias M. Racho gave medical check-ups and gave away vitamins and maintenance meds for senior citizens.
The Agriculture Office, The Local Civil Registrar (LCR) provided assistance in facilitating registration issues. The OSCA and Scholarship program aided in registering senior citizens for IDs and incoming 1st year college students, respectively. Other officials rendered specific services, property issues, building permits, and many other services.
Municipal Mayor Joselito T. Roble and residents were teated with dance presentations by the barangay health workers and nutrition scholars, and youth dance group. Both groups were handed with cash gifts each member from the mayor.
Mayor Roble highlighted recently completed P10 million Solar-powered Level II Water Supply System installed in the barangay. Mayor Roble said, โmao ni ang hangyo ni Kapitan Shirley nga makabaton ug hinlo nga tubig sa inyong dapit.” He also shared his next plan, which is the renovation of the Barangay Hall, health center, and the covered court, which is the venue of the activity. “Hanoy gyud ang grasya basta naka connect ta kang governor ug congressman.” Further, the mayor mentioned that he is happy to see the residents have reunited under the leadership of Barangay Captain, Hon. Shirley M. Edoc.
Aside from the services, Macalang residents also received 5 kg of rice, a packed lunch, Boss Macchiatto drinks, and fresh milk.

Ms. Chistine G. Callanta, Manager of BDO Network Bank – Buenavista was also there to campaign for residents to open a savings account. Pryce Gas also held a raffle draw for 2 lucky winners of a set of mini gas burners.
