March 28, 2025 | Usec. Lisa Grace S. Bersales, Atty. Juselle Tricia S. Roble, and Regional Director Alexander A. Makinano, led in the official opening of CPD Caraga’s new building at Brgy. Abilan, Buenavista. Agusan del Norte.

CPD Caraga Regional Director Mr. Alexander A. Makinano, CSEE, expressed his gratitude to Cong. Dale B. Corvera for allocating P19.9 million in funding the project, as well as to the municipal mayor of Buenavista, Hon. Joselito T. Roble, for facilitating the donation of 500 m² of land. He also thanked DPWH Project Engineer Mark Paler for overseeing the construction of the building and disclosed that Governor Angel Amante had committed an additional P3.4 million to complete the project.

On the other hand, Atty. Juselle Tricia S. Roble, Executive Assistant to the Mayor, extended her message, saying, “The expanded facility will create a conducive environment for the hardworking men and women of CPD to continue their efforts to reach more people, gather more insights, and implement more effective programs.” She further added, “The LGU is committed to strengthening our partnership with CPD Caraga as we share in our collective pursuit of progress, in the true spirit of community and collaboration.”

Usec. Lisa Grace S. Bersales, Executive Director V of CPD, also expressed her gratitude to the leaders of Agusan del Norte, particularly to Mayor Roble and Cong. Dale B. Corvera. She added, “The CPD is very important because we are the source of information for other sectors. We are the warning sector, and we provide awareness to our sector partners.”

The event was attended by Assistant Director General of NAPC, Ms. Mary Rose Villaflor, CSC Field Officer Mr. Melvin S. Perez, Population Officers in Caraga, CPD employees, and OJTs.
