October 24, 2025 | Municipal Mayor Joselito T. Roble personally received the Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) Ambulance from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) during the turnover ceremony held at Butuan Sports Complex, Brgy. Libertad, Butuan City.
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. led the ceremonial turnover of 71 PTV units across Mindanao.
A total of 12 units were distributed to Agusan del Norte and Butuan City, 20 to Surigao del Norte, 19 to Surigao del Sur, 7 to Dinagat Islands, 8 to Davao de Oro, 4 to Davao Oriental, and 1 to Misamis Oriental.
In his message, President Marcos emphasized the importance of strengthening the country’s healthcare system, especially in the wake of the recent earthquakes in Mindanao. He also shared his plan to directly allocate budgets to local government units (LGUs) to better address local needs and concerns.
The event was attended by Cong. Dale B. Corvera, Governor Ma. Angelica Rosedell M. Amante, municipal mayors, governors, and other congressional representatives from different provinces in Mindanao.
The new PTV Ambulance will further enhance Buenavista’s capacity to respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient patient transport services to its constituents.
