#DHSUD Regional Office 13, in partnership with the Municipal Government of Buenavista, and together with the Key Shelter Agencies (KSAs)—the National Housing Authority – Caraga (NHA), the Pag-IBIG Fund (HDMF) – Butuan City, the Human Settlements Adjudication Commission, RAB XIII – Caraga (HSAC), and the National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation (NHMFC) Cagayan de Oro Office—held a Shelter Agencies Housing Caravan on February 22, 2024, at the Covered Court of Barangay 2, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte, bringing programs and services directly to the people.

Residents from different barangays of Buenavista attended the activity, hearing key topics including the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, Anti-illegal Real Estate Practices, Homeowners’ Association (HOA) Rights and Prohibited Acts, Procedures for filing HOA cases, the Pag-IBIG Fund One Plus One Raffle Promo, the NHA Resettlement Housing Program, and NHMFC mandates and programs.

DHSUD RO 13 Regional Director Cristie Y. Reyes highlighted the importance of the caravan in her message, emphasizing the agency’s commitment to reaching communities and ensuring access to vital housing support. The KSA Caravan is a key initiative of the Regional Human Settlements and Urban Development Coordinating Council’s (RHSUDCC) aimed at raising public awareness of available programs and services.

This event underscores the Department’s ongoing commitment to serving the community and facilitating access to essential housing resources.
