October 23, 2025 | Mayor Joselito T. Roble, represented by Municipal Administrator Atty. Juselle Tricia S. Roble, led the orientation for the beneficiaries of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program.
A total of 190 workers from the Indigenous People and Friends Rescued groups will take part in the TUPAD Program.
Congressman Dale B. Corvera, represented by Ms. Jonnah Lee Loque, shared the Congressman’s message:
“Ang kaning pagtrabaho ninyo, dili lang manghinlo unya picture-picture lang, but kini mag-focus sa Plant, plant, plant.”
Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager Engr. Ronald Codilla emphasized that this TUPAD Program was made possible through the support of Mayor Joselito T. Roble. He expressed hope that our friends from the IP communities in the mountains will be able to work and provide for their families’ needs.
CPL Eliphaz Signar, representing the 23rd IB, extended his gratitude to the partner agencies—DOLE, the Provincial Government, and the LGU—for providing work opportunities for the Friends Rescued and the Indigenous People.
Municipal Agriculturist Ms. Gertrulyn T. Natonton committed to assist the workers by providing seedlings for planting. She hopes that everyone will be able to harvest the fruits of their labor.
The orientation was conducted by DOLE TUPAD Coordinator Ms. Rainee Dawn B. Alegarbes and facilitated by the LGU PESO staff.
